SIDEWAYS? EXACTLY.
NOW YOU CAN GET MORE SPACE WITH FEWER BUILDINGS
There are a lot of reasons to go modular when it comes to shooting ranges. Modular container ranges have been around awhile and they’re great for a quick and easy range application. But their limitations are evident when it comes to size. With CoverSix newest design in Modular Shooting ranges you can get 12 shooting lanes and 25m firing distance with just 10 structures, rather than the 18 it takes to get the same configuration with containers.
12 Lane Modular Container Range
To get 12 shooting lanes with a 25m firing distance, it takes 18 containers, six rows wide, three deep in length. Each set of three containers creates two 4-foot lanes. The configuration works but doesn’t meet some shooting range standards.
Made Up of 18 Structures
- 9’ 6” exterior height
- 3’ 6" shooting lane width
- Requires exceptions to some shooting range standards, like U.S. Air Force ETL 11-18
- Limited customization
- Temporary, relocatable
- Full ballistic containment
12 Lane Modular Building Range
With modular buildings, we literally turn the structures sideways, using one 62’ foot building, 10 buildings deep, to create 12 shooting lanes. This accommodates wider lanes, higher ceilings, and meets US Air Force Facilities Criteria (FC) 4-179-03F for Indoor Small Arms Firing Ranges and ETL 11-18 Small Arms Range Design and Construction.
Made Up of 18 Structures
- 10’ minimum height, and up to 13’
- 5’ minimum lane width, and up to 8’ wide
- Meets the requirements of IBC, and U.S. Air Force ETL 11-18
- All amenities of traditional construction available
- Lower transportation and onsite assembly costs due to fewer buildings
- Full ballistic containment
